Idea for Date Night

Need an idea for your next date night? Jim and I went on one last night to Aqua Verde in the University District. First we put our name in at the funky Mexican Cantina - packed to the brim due to Seattle FINALLY getting a sunny day. Then we went downstairs to rent a kayak for just $18. We (mostly Jim) paddled out into Lake Union (with caution because kayaks have the last right of way) and then just sat there for awhile, taking in the beautiful day and admiring the beautiful city. After paddling back we were just in time to get our table. We enjoyed our $25dinner, but I have to admit the service was so/so, the room was really loud and the food was just OK. Still, it was the entire experience that counts and for just $43it was a really fun night and we really felt as though we'd gotten away.
